Mondeal is a prestige supplier of science-based, performance-driven aesthetic products.
Holy Cow! were engaged to create their new visual identity and custom website. As Mondeal’s reputation is based on the outstanding quality of the products they represent, we aimed to reflect this quality in their new visual identity and website.
When developing the visual identity for Mondeal it was important to arrive at a solution that was flexible and elegant. As a distributor of products within the aesthetics industry, the logo and identity is required to have both independent strength and recognition, as well as the ability to complement the brands it showcases in communications.
The word Mondeal comes from the French word ‘mondial’, meaning global or universal. With this in mind, we pulled focus to the ‘O’ and the power of the circle which has been used as a symbol since the beginning of time, representing the notions of totality and being complete, perfection, the self, the infinite, eternity, and timelessness. The angled stroke intersecting the circle is both an abstracted representation of the globe, and a subtle reference to both injectables and threading.
This symbol sits within the type to create a distinct and refined logotype and also has the flexibility to be pulled out on its own as a strong mark for visual identity elements such as image watermarking.
Previously, Mondeal had three separate websites so this unique brief was to consolidate them into a single online platform for both consumers (B2C) and practitioners (B2B) in Australia and New Zealand.
Mondeal requested a sleek, contemporary site that would deliver an intuitive experience for each user groups so we conducted an initial user experience (UX) workshop to closely examine the needs of each group. The results of this workshop informed the overall framework, design and user interface (UI) of the site.
The Mondeal website includes the following custom features:
● Multi-level access for various user groups
● International and national online store
● Training and resource hub
● ‘Find a Provider’ tool linked to user accounts (Google Maps API)
● Automatic discount codes
● E-marketing integration
The new website was part of a larger company rebrand, allowing us to align the new Mondeal branding company-wide.
